Seeing the backwardness of Muslim in education and economy, the residents of the town and nearby villages formed a committee under the name and style of IQRA Indian Educational Society and decided to take steps for the welfare and prosperity of Muslims. We were encouraged and helped by Janab Abidullah Ansari Ghazi Sahab, Executive Director IQRA International Educational Foundation of Chicago (U.S.A.) & her wife Mrs.Tasneem Ghazi.

Seeing her contribution & sacrifice in the education and social field the committee of the IQRA Indian Educational Society decided to start the college in her honor after her name Tasleema Ghazi Teachers College of Education.

There was not even a primary school for Muslims in this town, Ambehta Peerzadgan, which is one of the oldest town in the District of Saharanpur (U.P). IQRA Indian Educational society paid more attention toward it and established the following institution in this town under the able guidance and leadership of Founder Manager Dr. Shah Shahid Rashid Sabri beside hailing form the Medical Profession Dr. Shahid had the rare privilege of missionary spirit in Education, in short span of ten year, he upgraded the institutions like (1) Madersa IQRA Jamiatul Islamia (2) Tanveer Memorial IQRA Public Junior High School (3) Hazrat Meeran Bheek IQRA Inter College and (4) T.G.T. College of Education (Degree & B.Ed.)

The B.Ed. college prepares the students for active life commitment and includes dimensions the permeating the entire education. The education is value oriented, encourage the realistic knowledge of the world in which we live, it relies up a spirit of the harmony among teaching staff and administrations that take place within a structure that adopt means and methods to achieve the above object most effectively.
